Damn, it’s really hard to write a blog post when Eagle Eye is on in the room. I thought one could rise above the noise and anx­i­ety but hell, any threat to our national good­ness with Shia Labeef and that Arkansas guy, Billy Bob, will col­lect all my atten­tion and just lift it up. Is it any coin­ci­dence that the band is from Hyde Park, IL? Think about it, you clever lit­tle movie watch­ers — that’s where the Obama’s live. That I know because one of my near­est and dear­est is in Chicago at the ALA con­ven­tion and was to drive by the house yes­ter­day. And there, Shia just got hit by the big bul­let… but he’ll live on, he’s a star, the movie ain’t over until the star boy says it’s over.
