Japanification of Children’s Popular Culture

I am now officially a source of all things known and unknown. At least that’s how special I am to me. After an intensive Googling of myself for my autobiographical entry in a soon-to-be-named publication, something interesting and unexpected came up — a book by Mark I. West titled “The Japanification of Children’s Culture”– and it quotes a review of The Animé Encyclopedia written for Popmatters. Back in my reviewer of all books days, I could pop out a book review a week for Popmatters.com. I enjoyed the fool out of receiving and reading hundreds of galleys and first editions…

And then there’s Genya Ravan who so graciously thanked me for my help with her autobiography, Lollipop Lounge. I regret not being able to finish that project, she’s a great lady.
